On a trip my sister and I took to Lake Wentworth this summer I captured several pictures of this boat and a canoe. Try as I might I just couldn't make them work for me. So I thought I have nothing to loose let's play in Silver efex. But first I went into Color efex and put I filter on the for vintage film. Then into Silver Efex and added the filter the Antique filter I kinda liked the look. Liked not loved but what the heck I'm just playing this week and having a bit of fun. It did intro a lot of noise because the picture had been previously processed in LR. So I think my mentor is right having done it both ways now. Do no LR until you do Nik and you don't get as much noise. So maybe you don't much care for my pic but maybe you can learn a lesson from my experience.
@merrelyn You can download a demo copy for 2 weeks of the Nik collection which is what I did. Really easy to use. You can usually demo LR too. If you don't have LR and try it you will want it.
