Filiform Papillae or ......

The hair like barbs on a cats tongue. I loved this picture and cropped in on her face and tongue as I was pleased at the clarity. Can you feel that sandpaper when she licks. This is for the f-word feline. You know I had to post a picture of Two.

Oh my gosh...I LOVE the tongue. YES! I can feel it. And I've probably already mentioned I loved tabbies. My current girl has a very rough tongue...some seem to more than others. Fabulous detail.
