I now have sciatica - will it never end. So having pain walking and photo shots are on rest. But my new digital scrapping kit came today and one of the tutorials was about changing day to night. I thought this lighthouse would work well. I took it a step further to put a light in the lighthouse.
Oh no! I know that can be painful. All the best to you. In the meantime, your processing here is terrific -- love the low key and slightly ominous look to it (maybe to fit your mood?).
Well done! Sorry about the sciatica. I find that certain yoga poses will release it, best done at night before bed so it recovers by morning. Massage therapy also works surprisingly well. Went for years before I found that out!
So sorry to hear that, Joan - have heard that can be so painful. Hoping it comes to an end soon. Neat job of processing on this - like that light in the lighthouse!
Joan- I feel so bad for you! I hope you'll be able to ease the pain- sciatica is rough. You've done a great job with the processing- it looks very realistic.
Effective, well done. Sorry about the sciatica... I have found the old Mackenzie floor exercises helpful. You can get a flavour of them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KJ3tzS_XpE
We have been paired for the get pushed challenge. Do you feel up to taking part?
@joansmor OK ... my impression is that you take really nice photographs of the things you come across when you are out and about, So my challenge to you is an indoor staged photograph: still life is probably the most well known genre. So choose 3 or 4 household objects (or whatever quantity feels right) and arrange them together in a way that seems pleasing to you...Photograph them (perhaps with window light or even using a hand held torch) so that the light comes in at a low angle to bring out form and structure. Think about the background too.. you don't want it to be a distraction. I hope you'll accept.
very nice processing
