I should get points because I decided to go on a photo shoot when in was 7F outside this morning. First I went to Congdon's for breakfast. Then I drove down to the beach choosing to head for the parking lot where I could get some backwater pictures because the sun was bright on the beach side. I drove along the coast grabbing pictures as I went. Now the Noreaster can trap me in my house and with the 2 photo rides last week I can post plenty of pictures. Afterwards well prepare for more snow shots. This is the back water so you are not looking at waves but at frozen waters.
What terrific colors, lighting and detail! Would love to be living in one of those houses right on the water. Like how you captured the icy curves in that backwater. Fav
@photographycrazy@pistache@yrhenwr@lynne5477 I think you should know this was taken from my car. I would have been afraid of problems with the camera in this cold. So I froze until the car warmed up and running in and out of the grocery store after I was pretty warm in my car.
love the sinuous leading line and the textures of the frozen sea.. the morning light is too beautiful for words.. all your efforts were truly rewarded with this fabulous image.. that you have many more is great news..
