I'm back...Your challenge is to do an in camera double exposure. I've checked the manual on your Nikon D90 and it does have a multiple exposure setting ... you can find the instructions in the manual on page 121 https://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/kie88335f7869dfuejdl=-cww2/D90_en.pdf
