Nothing could be finer. I am attempting to get a camera club going at the senior center. Didn't want to be a teacher as much as person sharing my knowledge but I have a couples of people with a little knowledge. And the want to edit cellphone pictures. Told them to download Snapseed. Gonna have my hands full.
Loved finding the two people- didn't notice them at first - nice scene there - would love to be with you at that spot right now! Lots of luck with your group - you'll have fun and I know they will, too.
A stunning capture and beautiful scene. Lovely processing too. I hope you did not bite off more than you can chew with the seniors. I find it fabulous that you are doing it and am sure it will be pleasure for all. Fav
So pretty! I don't think you have to be an expert to "teach". With YouTube and other video lessons out there you can all learn together. I think someone on here had a group similar to your situation and they picked 12 topics they wanted to cover in a year and each member found a video or book on one of them and they took turns providing the information to the others. There's lots of creative ways to learn and having met you, I know you'll be able to "lead" your group well. Sometimes a good meeting is simply being able to show your photos and get tips on how to improve them. You've learned how to do that with your mentor and I think you'll be able to do that with your new photo friends too.
Beautiful shot and so nicely edited! Have fun with your group - a lovely way to grow yourself and also to share your knowledge. You will probably find out that you know a lot more than you think you do about photography.
Nice shot!
