Off to the side

On one my favorite photo ride roads sits this double cross. Usually these mean someone died here in a car accident. But this one is further off the road than most. And not sure the significance of the double cross - an adult and child. If anyone knows I would love if you could share.

I've never seen one with a tilted cross like that before. I wonder if you typed that question into google if there's an explanation out there somewhere. I think most of the time the people who put up the marker decorate them with things that are significant to the person who died there so you could be on to something with your interpretation. So sad!
