Believe it or not there are two lighthouses in this picture. The big one is Portland Head. The small vertical line on the water is Ram Island light.
Why shoot and post the same thing? My answer most of the time is that it makes me happy. But every once in a while you take the best picture you have gotten of said thing. Going with the second one today.
@vignouse It grew over the years starting as a stone cottage. It is in what has become a wealthy town and I guess the house grew with the town. I have never seen pne so grand,

You can take as many lighthouse pictures as you want as far as I'm concerned! You could post one for every day of the month and I'd probably fav most of them as I really just love lighthouses! So of course your twofer is a fav for me! But also because I love the black and white too. Excellent shot!
