Two and the Amaryllis

I planted the Amaryllis before Thanksgiving and this is as far as it has come. It stayed about 2 inches for a month and then before Christmas got this big and nothing. Two is questioning my gardening skills. I was going to plant paperwhites after this bloomed but think I will plant them today and see if they develop faster.
