Once again by joansmor

Once again

This old homestead has been in my project a few times. Sadly it is falling down. I hate to think some day it will be gone and I won't be able to get a picture for my project. A relative of the owner lives across the street and uses the yard for a place to park farm equipment which just adds to the fun of the photography.

I am always amazed at how many of you take the time to visit my project and I can't thank you enough for that support.
Beautiful processing Joan...lovely that you have a record of its existence

Nice shot, in my humble opinion it would look fantastic in black/white and a touch of sepia.

You make a great record of the destructive forces of time.

Great processing!

I think sometimes it's cheaper to just let them fall apart than tear them down. But I love this shot- every single part of it has character! fav

Beautiful scene - fav

What a great find and composition. It’s a bit over hdred for my taste though

Love this - the colors and the many items of interest. I had a favorite "go to" place similar to this that I loved to photograph, but no more. The last time I was there a big trailer house was sitting right by the old house that was the focal point of every photo of mine. Time marches on:)
January 28th, 2019
I love the processing you did with this.
January 28th, 2019
This is such an interesting scene, and your processing of it is wonderful! Fav!

Hi Joan. We’re get pushed partners this week. Your challenge. Go way back to your project in Jan and Feb of 2014 and pick one of the photos you posted then and use it for your inspiration for a new shot. Sound OK?

I’m headed to Wisconsin for the week and, while I will be taking photos with my camera, I may or may not be able to use my friends’ computer to post, so I’d appreciate a challenge that doesn’t rely on the capabilities of my camera, since I know I can post from my iPod connecting with their WiFi so could use the iPod camera for challenge. Does that make sense?
