I had a little ah-ha moment today. When asking about pictures with focus problem so many of you said I should use single focus and I said I was. Then today I was reading about continuous focus and I wondered if I had that. Well yes I do and what I thought was single focus wasn't. So took a few pictures today using single focus. Happy with the result. But one thing I have to say about this picture is "ewee not nice bug - scary bug.."
Fantastic shot. Focus perfect, composition perfect, balance perfect; Bee and cricket. Excellent and a fav!

Much better! Sometimes it's just a matter of hearing what is said not what you think is being said. Great Focus! Your bug look to me like some type of grasshopper.

@janiskay I need @pjr to come tell us Pete's a bug expert. Probably @vignouse too! This bee photo bombed several of my pictures.

This is excellent Joan - see what you can do when you try! I would have lost the leaf at lower left and the shadowy detail at top right as they both distract the eye... but these are minor details. Nice Bugs, Lady!

@vignouse What kind of bug?? Or do I need Pete. Thanks I failed to see that little leaf because I was so focused on the flower and bugs.
