This one's for me

The bw version is in my main album ( http://365project.org/joansmor/365/2016-12-25 ). This is the first picture I took when I arrived. The long exposure resulted in the sky looking like day. So I played with some actions and got the island and building looking good but the sky was white. I selected the sky and on another layer filled it with black. A little etsooi.

Whilst this is lovely, I prefer the monochrome version. For me, the 'illuminatioms' give it a manufactured look.

@s4sayer @joansmor While I would agree with Margo, to a point, the fact that it is Christmas, and this could well be used as a Christmas card next year, I think you did a wonderful job of editing and it sounds like you got the result that you wanted.

Wouldn't you love to light you house up like this for the holidays.
