My challenge this week from Harry was "I would like you to photo some historical architecture near you and present it in sepia"
About 150 metres from my house is Lymm Cross.
The cross dates from the early to the middle 17th century and it was restored in 1897. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lymm_Cross
Just the top of it because there were (always are) children climbing on it - and I've cropped them out.
Beautiful old stone...love the details and sepia...and that you cropped it! Sending u an email with some thoughts this weekend! Will be my other email though! Fav!
Sometimes having to alter the composition because of pesky people can give us a really effective shot, as is the case here. The sepia works really well especially on that pillar at the front.
Thanks for my challenge Jocasta. I have not had time to check all your challenges, so I hope I am not repeating one from the past. Your challenge is to create a scene with small objects like toys or whatever works. The scene could tell a story or be more abstract.
