My get-pushed partner, Tineke, challenged me to take a photo of 'JOY". Well, that's pretty spooky cos my name is Joy (Jocasta is my nickname). So this is a selfie - my red shoes! To see them when they were new

My age is showing because I remember when we all wore these types of "sneakers." Boys wore hi-tops of course. Have to admit that they have improved sneakers a lot for support when needed.

Hi Joy. I've been absent from Get Pushed for a few months, having been an active challenger for the previous couple of years. Well, I'm happy to be your partner for GP 161. I just had a good time looking through your image posts for the past 3 months. I spent the first half of my life in NW England, so enjoyed the familiar places. Anyway, I was inspired by your image yesterday, which looks a bit like a still life by the Dutch masters. How about your challenge this week to be 'create an image in the manner of a style of art eg. Neo-Impressionist, Cubist, pop art, Vorticism ... Hope this works for you!
