@lynnb Hey Lynn - all good thanks, didn't even lose power & was very well prepared. I was upstate & Jeff just slept through the whole thing. I also had removed any trees that I thought were a danger over the last 3 years - at great cost to the management, but a neighbor's tree lost branches that hit our house. We had a friend who had his apartment flooded, who was staying with us & I did volunteer for a local church for a couple of days & help out by donating food, water, clothes, cleaning supplies, bed linen, towels, toiletries etc. So glad that I keep a good supply of everything on hand. How are you doing?
Doing well. Winter has. Ome early. We are on our second major snowfall and the high was only -12C today. We're lucky in that we live east of the mountains and periodically get a chinook wind. Temps can jump 20C in a day! Not goin to happen for a while though. Glad everything went well for you during Sandy. Keep on taking care. Look forward to more pics sometime.
:) Glad that you are doing well too - we just had snow here on Long Island too - bit of a shock - don't even have my snow tires on yet. The aftermath of the Hurricane has been pretty awful for so many - still don't have power on to 130000+ homes. :(
Hoping to start posting pix again next year. Going back down to Oz to spend Xmas with our Family - so looking forward to that. Still don't have my garage etc fixed Upstate - probably going to wait until spring now.
