The shade house by jodies

The shade house

While wandering around my Dad's place I ventured into the old shade house that is very overground and forgotten. This corner is where my Mum used to re-pot her pot plants so it was with some sadness that I took this shot wondering if she was still alive would it still look like this.
Oh, Jodie. Great photo, but I don't know how you could bear to take it. It was "lump in my throat" for me. I'm glad you processed it into the low key sepia.

Oh this is such a sad picture. It just makes me think that you can never go back, we just have to move forward and accept the changes.

I can feel the sorrow. The memories it must have stirred. Their loss remains with us, it does not matter how long they have been gone. Thinking of you. Thank you for sharing this beautiful shot.

I showed this picture to my Dad and he said that he was thinking about cleaning it up but may leave it now as he really like the photo.

So poignant. And I have just been having a conversation with my family about how difficult we are all finding it without Mum this winter.
