I have never seen baby butcher birds before. I discovered these two while out for a walk this afternoon. Some how doing this project I have become a bird photographer, I have discovered that I quite like the challenge of trying to capture the perfect shot, especially with only a 200 mm lens.
Beautifully captured Jodie. I know what you mean with a 200mm lens. I'm putting in a Christmas wish for something bigger. The problem is I'm still undecided about which lens I want and weight is a problem.
Aw, Jodie he looks so cute. We have a pair of butcher birds that we feed and they take the raw mince off for their babies. Haven't seen the babies yet though.
@merrelyn Thanks Merrelyn, there is always that constant dilemma about which lens to get next. I will probably still stick with my 200 mm and just get better at stalking!
