I saw this “Incy Wincy” spider on my jeans. It truly was very small as you can see. But it stayed there long enough for me to capture it with my iPhone. I flicked it off my leg before it attacked me!! (It’s “Incy Wincy” here in Australia but I understand it’s “Itsy Bitsy” elsewhere!)
"No one knows, incidentally, why Australia's spiders are so extravagantly toxic; capturing small insects and injecting them with enough poison to drop a horse would appear to be the most literal case of overkill. Still, it does mean that everyone gives them lots of space."

Thanks. I just cropped this and was amazed how sharp it was. I think my iPhone must have done some enhancing without telling me.
Tiny little guy - he's lucky you didn't think he was just a blob of dirt and flick him off in an accidently lethal way... You've caught such great detail.
Wonderful capture!
It looks innocent enough with its round furry body.
I'm very weary of spider after my young daughter had two surgeries following the bite of a Brown recluse spider when she was a young child.
I've always said, "Incy Wincy" or Eency Weency Spider- but thankfully none on my jeans. I do not really like spiders if they're in my home, but outside, they're free to roam. I wouldn't be calm enough to take a shot of this fellow like you did though!
Nice closeup capture of the textures on your jeans and on the spider. We have a couple of poisonous ones around here. A friend had to spend a week in the hospital when a brown recluse was in his shoe.

Thanks for the much appreciated comments. Trust me Kathy it’s not jewellery!
Thanks. As Dione commented this was a very small spider indeed when compared to my jeans.
Thanks Ann. It Wai ils have struggled to bite through my jeans!
Thanks. We have a few killer spiders in Australia 😒😒😒
