@peterdegraaff - this is in that area on my view on Flickr showing how much it's changed over the last 6 years. That building on the left is the Gherkin - and you're looking from slightly further round to the south than I am from 16 miles out

@shannew Your view is quite a contrast. Was watching equestrian last night, and as the horses jumped through crescent you could see city. Although you are 16 miles out, you probably don't have the urban sprawl we do. Nice that you have fields and countryside so close to the city

wow, still turned out great!! i like using my phone once in a while :) It gives me more of a challange sometimes!! love all the cranes in this shot!

Wow, so many cranes around there. It's like in Sliema - continuous demolishing and building going on.Love it in B&W.

With all the construction for the Olympics and all these buildings going up, it seems as though a lot of people might be put to work, although lots of noise and detours, I imagine!

excellent,i really want to have a day out in london but know i will be dissapointed just wondering around lost and coming home with nothing as impressive as this.
