Sorry, I took so much pictures that I couldn't stand making a collage for today's post.
1- (top left) Monument for Bandeiras statue: this 50m big statue symbolizes the movement held by group called bandeiras (followers of the banner) during 16-18th century. They ventured to the unmapped region of country side in search for profit and adventure, such as capture the native for slavery, find gold, silver and diamond mines. Due to then this country enlarged its territory.
2-(down) Ibirapuera Park: during walking I cross this group of people with animals masks, making a protest against forest destruction.
3-(top right) Carcará (southern caracara) at my window: it was late afternoon when I saw a big bird passing in front of balcony, I went out and for my surprise it landed at my room's window! I ran for the camera and just had time to take a couple of shots before it fly. I'm happy that even in the middle of metropolis some wild life survive.
Nice Joji! Each of those picture symbolizes something very worthwhile to share here! I actually like the way the protestors were trying to save the forest, and still you have a big, beautiful bird fly to your balcony! They do go together in some way!
