After 3.5 hours of bashing the thing with a sledgehammer and rolling the pieces away with my 'wife of great strength' to a space at the rear of the conservatory, the Big Rock's gone - hooray. Now we can get down to buying some matching bricks and coping stones and then some sand & cement to finish things off. Then, just a case of digging up the whole patio and re-laying with gravel and cemented-in stepping stones.......
