Well well well, look at me posting a shot only hours after taking it. Its been a long time since I've done this. So, if you have been following my project for a while, you know that I am not a morning person, but some of my favourite/best shots are dawn shots. I got up at 7am this morning but the actual dawn was disappointing. I saw this scene on the way back "home". I really could get used to this life. I only need to convince the skipper to bring me to Santa Lucia but I'm not sure I could handle 22 days on a yacht...
There is talk of me climbing the mast later today (23 metres) so if I don't post again for a while it means I stuck up there, frozen in fear :-)
Fantastic colours and capture. I hope you overcome you fears and make it down safely. Don't forget to take your camera up there though, you could capture something amazing.
Now that the sun is coming up later it's easier to get up for dawn ;-) This is very pretty, Paul. Take your camera up the mast... you could get a great POV and keep you company if you do get stuck... lol. Where are you these days?
@aspada True. Its at 7:30 here now so its not too bad. Oh, the reason for going up is for the photo and only the photo. But you know, new camera/lens swinging about has me concerned. Am in the Canary Islands til Tuesday, then back to Milan. When are you back?
Seriously, if dawn was at 7am... I'd probably even attempt that once in a while... not the ridiculous 5am I think it is lol. I like your shot though and hope you aren't stuck up a mast!!!
