Caged Cactus

Seemed rather silly to me to cage a cactus. Then again, this was very near the Old Territorial Prison in Yuma.

Hmm, was it purposeful? It almost looks like some vine made it's own gridded cover.

@cgribben Not sure, The tree behind the cactus mind have needed some protection at some point but not now. The cactus could have been there already since they grow slower than the Cottonwood trees. I just like the way the branch of the cactus is trying to escape.
