Selfi in Sepia by joysabin

Selfi in Sepia

My get pushed challenge from Francoise @francoise was 'Here's a challenge for you: a vintage style sepia-toned portrait, either of yourself or of someone else'. I am camera shy by nature so to step out from behind it takes this kind of challenge- I need this but don't like it.
Anyway, this is me sitting in my hanging chair hidden enough with lots and lots of edits.
@francoise This is my 1st attempt at a selfie in sepia for your challenge. I know its not vintage looking so I will try again today to be a bit more traditional

No, I'm not sure that striped shirts are vintage (unless perhaps you're in an old-fashioned bathing costume...). That being said, this is a REALLY nice picture, so balanced.

Love the circular format and strong reflections in your sun glasses

I like the way you have treated this. The refection in your shades is a nice touch. No need to be camera shy.

@paulmann Easier said than done but will try more often.

@ukandie1 I tried using a vignette effect and then went crazy with pencil sketch and sepia so yup its etsooi but learned a few things too.
