Went on a tour of the murals in downtown Flag to learn the back story for some. This is one titled "The Veridic Gardens of Effie Leroux" by artist Joe Sorren done in 2000.
@stephanies Thank you, this is painted on a round surface and also I used a fish eye. @ukandie1 Thank you, this town has a larger number of murals- some public, some private but they are all over. The characters in this remind me of Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas stop action movie. @gerry13 Thank you, being on a curved surface and using a fish eye helped make the roundness much more pronounced. @megpicatilly Thank you, I am getting more comfortable with layer masks in PS but they still get me a tad frustrated.
@cjphoto Thank you, this one is a really weird one. The story that the guide told us is that the surface seemed to dictate the style of the characters that were painted.
