Love and appreciate raw and photoshop. This was taken 1/2 hour after moonrise in front of the little wayside church by the San Francisco Peaks, Church of the Holy Dove with only the moon as a light source.
@taffy Thank you, all my other shots were total sh#t. It was so cold but the emptiness and solitude of the meadow behind the peaks was so worth it. I must go back but with hunting socks and gloves.
@graemestevens Thank you so much, the original was in desperate need of etsooi so I had to.
@susale Thank you a great deal. The moon was so cooperative as was photoshop.
@pusspup So glad you liked it, the edits available with raw images in photoshop are amazing as well as addictive.
@evalieutionspics I haven't taken advantage of the back side of the SF Peaks at night before, I will now. The meadow is very open and so very tranquil.
@nanderson Am truly grateful for the fav. We usually have great night skies in the winter, the trade off is that it is 'blinking' cold. The backside of the peaks seems to be really much better than near town so I will be going back several times after I get battery powered socks and gloves.
@wordpixman Thank you so very much for the fav. The little church is non-denominational but and also very interesting but by moonlight it takes on a different character which I like.
@chard Thank goodness for raw and photoshop. I was really amazed by the way it turned out.
@gardencat The cross is a cut beveled glass and was catching the moon's light.
@megpicatilly Thank you a great deal for the fav. I'm sorry that you got clouds. The skies here were clear so as a last attempt to get something other than just the moon, I stopped by the little church and really lucky.
@jo38 Thank you so very much for the fav. I've not used raw too much and am amazed to what can be done with the images. I am going to get lost in photoshop now.
@365projectorgjenfurj I am truly grateful for the fav. The original was mostly dark just the moon and tree silhouettes. Then got brave and played with raw in PS.
@octogenarian I am so glad you liked it. This little church sits right next to the highway and only seats about 20. I was also very lucky that no one else was there, guess it was too cold.
@jerome Thank you ever so much for the fav. Photoshop raw is addictive.
@stephanies Thank you so very much for the fav. I actually started the evenings shots at this little church but thought that the open meadow would be better, glad that I came back and thank goodness for raw and photoshop.
@jeffinvt Thank you, I was a bit surprised how bright the supermoon was, need more practice. Photoshop and I are getting along better lately.
