Spur of the moment

While walking in Williams a couple of days ago, I almost ran into Buckskin Dan aka Daniel H. Volkart. He was coming out of a store as I was taking a shot of the storefronts and sidewalks. He thought that he had photo-bombed my shot but he hadn’t. I told him that it would have been fine if he had. I told him that spontaneity is a fun and good thing to practice. I then asked if he would let me take a shot on purpose. He agreed and gave me his card. If I were to show up at his ‘gig’ down the street, he’d give me a flower. Such a nice gentleman.

For my Stranger’s Project which only has a few images but I am trying…..
Well done for asking. It’s a characterful portrait and good in b&w.

@quietpurplehaze Thank you, I need to set quotas for myself. Once I find my voice, I have fun.
@samae He was such a friendly stranger.
@henrir Thank you so much.
@ihallmackenreuther Thank you, he was a bit startled too. Enjoyed my encounter with him.
@fbailey He and I talked for just a few moments but it was still reassuring that there are many nice people.
@onewing I will have to stop in to Williams and try and find him again.
@overalvandaan He was so nice and it wouldn't have been bad if he photo-bombed my shot. I told him that spontaneity is a good thing.
@jernst1779 Williams is a smaller town than Flagstaff and people are very approachable there.
@taffy Not gruff in the least and that was wonderful.
@haskar Thank you so much.
@s4sayer He probably just make any prisoner giggle and laugh as punishment.
@la_photographic Truly appreciate the fave, thank you so kindly.
@ziggy77 I am very grateful for the fav. I did surprise myself and get right up close- I usually am much more reserved.
