Finished off my roll of Ilford IR black and white. Enjoyed being in the darkroom with the smell of stop and fixer. I see that I need a great amount of practice with film. Had fun anyway.
So grateful for the comments that allowed this to make it to the TP and PP.
Well done for knowledge and commitment. (At first sight I thought that SFX at the top had a different letter in the middle.....well I am seeing it again as I type it!)
Haven't done any dark room work since my teens, when our Chemistry teacher showed me how. He was an odd chap, helped me improve my early chess skills too.
@domenicododaro I am so grateful for the fav, very surprised too. I learn best by repetition so I need to shoot more double rolls so let the procedure become habit.
@quietpurplehaze I have to admit that I miss placed the neg carrier for my scanner so this was scanned directly and it was a miracle that it worked at all. I do like the film info showing. I'll have to play around some and see what I can come up with.
@pistache Thank you, I got lucky with this scanning - technical difficulties with my scanner.
@jack4john SO very thankful for the fav, My skill with doubles is limited but who cares, I have fun just playing. Serendipity sometimes smiles my way. Would you be interested in 'sharing' a roll of 35mm for doubles? Domenico and I did that earlier this year and it was fun. We both shot a roll, re-wound it so that there was a tab to re-load and shoot again. If interested, let me know. jysabin@yahoo.com
@henrir I started out with film- 35+ years ago. I no longer print from negatives but use a scanner which is less of a headache. If you still have negatives or a film camera, you might consider getting a scanner. Someone else can develop the film and you can just play around by scanning. I have an Epson V600 but there are many others flatbeds.
@ingajohansson You are so very kind, very grateful for the fav.
@tstb13 Thank you so much for the fav. My darkroom is a bathroom that I take-over but I like the challenge that film processing gives me.
@jernst1779 So kind of you, thank you a great deal.
@s4sayer I am stubborn so I can't give up the chemicals completely. Where I live there isn't any reliable developing lab so I figure if they can do it, I can too.

@samae Thank you so very much.
@yrhenwr Thank you so kindly for the fav. I must do processing more.
@francoise The serendipity of doubles are fascinating. Give it a try.
