Flash or Red No 7

Gate Keeper's cabin at Riordan Mansion in Flagstaff. We've been blessed with 9 inches of snow over the past 72 hours.

Shot with a lensbaby sol45.
You've certainly captured textures here - love the light on the trunks. Cannot imagine 9 inches of snow ...

Oh my gosh, looks so good in b&w, but oh, so cold.

@eudora I was walking around the house and saw the gate house in the shade. There is a student apartment complex just behind which was thankfully blurred out.
@yaorenliu Thank you so much.
@golftragic Can't disagree about the cold. The morning temps were in the single digits. I so want to live in Hawaii.
@fbailey Snow is a big part of this area, we are at 7000 ft and get on the average about 100inches per year. The snow comes and goes but, I just don't like the ice.

Nice shot

That's what I remember about Flag. Snow today, clear the next. Best time to go to the Canyon, great change from Tucson in the winter.

Not much snow showing on the Flagstaff rail cam right now.

Sweet capture.

@byrdlip We are at about 32 inches for the season but should have close to 52 inches. Winter isn't over, sad but true. We usually go to Sedona to get warm(er).

@jernst1779 The lensbaby does a great job here, there is an student apartment complex just to the right that is blurred out. The size of the property used to be 50+acres when the Riordan's lived there but sadly down to 5 and Norther Arizona is moving ever closer all the time.

@henrir Thank you, I like this little cabin, glad they have saved it.
