Flash of Red No 21

Leading lines. I wish that they would lead me out of this snow. In less than 24 hours we've received 23.8 inches and are due are due for 8-11 more before this storm shows some courtesy and moves on. At least its light fluffy snow. My dog is feeling cabin fever but has braved the snow a few times. She gets lost in the drifts but bounds out with a look of glee.
My goodness. That adds up to 1 meter. That is deep, and when the wind blows it to drifts, it is even deeper.
Soon you will only be able to communicate by smoke signals. :-)

@octogenarian Thanks for the laugh, I so so needed it. This snow isn't a record for here- 60 inches in 2010. The sun will be out on Saturday so I will escape then.

Definitely nice leading lines. Love how the snow gradually builds up at the top of the picture. That story about your dog is cute! Once, we had 2 big snowfalls a day apart, one 3 feet and the next 2 feet. So 5 feet total. I let my dog out and all we could see was what looked like a plow u der the snow! LOL!!

@shannejw We gave her a new nickname, Snow Otter. She flies over the snow, helps with her energy release.

@jenp This bench sits on my front porch so it doesn't get much but just beyond, the roses are completely buried. My pup needs a walk but I am not sure where the sidewalks are until they plow.

@golftragic Snow used to be much more fun but RIley seems to be in 'piggy' heaven. She needs a walk but that will have to wait for a few days.

@henrir The roofs are packed but the snow is light so it shouldn't be a big problem. I am glad that I get to stay put and don't have to fuss with driving in the stuff.

@samae I need to dig out my ski pants and look like the Michelin Tire guy- may look silly but I am warm.

@jernst1779 Thank you, this snow is good, should help with a lower fire danger later in the year.
