Ektar 100 from my Canon AE1 journey. It is noisy which really doesn't bother me much. Using this 40+ year old beauty is turning out to be a most enjoyable journey. I really do need to find a reliable shop/technician to clean it.
I took this earlier this month but it does take time to finish a roll of 36 exposures not to mention pulling out the developing tanks and chemicals.
@gardenfolk Thank you very much. I am having fun. If I had known how easier color developing was compared to black and white, I would have done this years ago. 72K, I wouldn't be able to keep them organized, my tech skills are so not up to date.:):)
When I first switched to digital I really missed film but I confess with the amount of pictures I take now I could never go back. A few years ago I did a film challenge here and was surprised how out of touch with it I was! I'm glad you're enjoying it though. This is really pretty.
@shannejw Thank you so much. The Ektar film really has great range. I do admit to lots of scratch fixing. The camera's mirror and focus screen are not in such great shape at the moment.
@fbailey Thank you, film is fun but definitely takes patience.
@samae I've never used a canon before, it has a noisy shutter release but then again my iPhone shutter is really loud too. I am happy that developing the color film is easy.
@s4sayer Thank you so very kindly. I am spoiled with being able to see what I shot at a moments notice but with film I must slow down and just have faith. It is good for my piece of mind to slow down and just trust. I hope that film never dies.
@olivetreeann I was always intimidated by color film but how wrong I was. When I first took B&W classes, many many moons ago, B&W was considered more artsy. I will always enjoy a well composed and printed monotone image. I am just beginning to gain some skill with color so on ward I trudge.
@jernst1779 You are so kind, very appreciative of the fav. So far, taking over the bathroom as a darkroom now and then hasn't caused too many issues.
@la_photographic Thank you very much. I would love the see some of your film work.
@overalvandaan Truly grateful for the fav. I am enjoying playing with all sorts of photography, just feds my soul.
