For the mini challenge- One week only ( https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/42155/one-week-only-3-the-return ). The last prompt was 'street photography'. The railroads were first to take up residence in Flagstaff and they most definitely control the street traffic in town. Not sure if this qualifies but I sat along the tracks today and waited for a passing train. It took 3 trains to get what I wanted. The conductor honked while passing me, felt a bit honored.
@fbailey Thank you a great deal. It might have been just seeing an old lady sitting down on the cobbles next to the tracks with a camera that gave him the idea.
@samae Thank you so much. I first tried to hold the ball at arms length but couldn't get the camera to focus as the train went by. I ended up using a tiny tripod with a suction holder ( https://www.adorama.com/lnlbstnd.html ).
@summerfield Its the old lady factor, sitting down with lensball and camera next to the tracks - more of an astonishment thing, I think.
@golftragic So very grateful for the fav. They are fun and come in several sizes.
@graemestevens Most grateful for the fav. Odd places to take images can have consequences.
@ingajohansson Thank you so much. I really like that the old cobble stones are still there.
@jernst1779 Very thankful for the fav. I did try walking around to get other street shots but holding the lensball while shooting was causing issues so sitting down by myself seems to work the best.
@overalvandaan Old ladies don't often get noticed, :):). Thank you so very kindly for the fav.
