Woke up to these

The Lake Powell Page Balloon Regatta was held this past weekend in Page Arizona. We went for the balloon glow when the balloons are tethered and aglow downtown. I woke to many of these beauties flying over the AirbNb where we stayed. I was better prepared and dressed today, day 2 of our visit. I went outside and snagged several shots before we left town this morning.
Love Humpty, what a great shot

So cool! I would be scared to death riding one, but looking at them is quite a feast for the eye and the camera!

@onewing He is a very special balloon.

@jernst1779 My husband had chosen this AirBnB since it was walking distance to town but the school field across the street was a wonderful bonus. Thank you so very much for the fav.

@robz The fav is very much appreciated, thank you. The sound of the air being released as they fly is what got me up and grabbing my camera. The weather was just perfect for the regatta.

@domenicododaro I dream of being in one but it would take great courage to do so. They are just elegant to watch and perhaps that is where I should stay, just watching. Thank you so kindly for the fav.

@samae I was so surprised to see so many but Page isn't a big town and the weather was just perfect. They were just so close, it was almost surreal.

@haskar, @gardenfolk, @golftragic, @angelunderwater Thank you so very much for the favs, truly appreciated.

Every time I see a balloon shot I'm reminded of my amazing flight in one- and I want to go again! Great shot!

@olivetreeann How cool that you did. I am on the fence about doing it but I should just go for it.

@joysabin Absolutely go for it- it's incredible and it's not anything like what you would expect. You glide along with the air current so you don't hear the wind. It is also a very smooth ride too. I was afraid I'd be scared to death since I'm not crazy about heights. But I was able to keep myself from looking down most of the time, thus avoiding "the butterflies". And of course being "focused" on getting pictures helped keep me from thinking too much about where I was!

@olivetreeann Thank you, I think that I should, maybe in Sedona, it would be cool to see those great rocks from up high.

@ninaganci Thank you so very much for the fav, It was so much fun to see them just out the door.
