I really love this image. Love the composition, dof and b&w so much!
I watched the short film. Very well done and thought provoking.
And reminds me that I am ever so grateful that I found this 365 project.
Really cool. I love the sombre atmosphere and the fading out lines drawing me into the image.
I just want to add that while I enjoyed the film I have a different take on negative comments than the author of that video does. I appreciate Well considered critical comments. To me they not only may help me improve my photography but they show that the poster actually took the time to look at and appreciate my photo, even if that appreciation included some negative features. I occasionally post what could probably be seen as ‘negative’ comments on others’ images. I try to be gentle but sometimes, if I see an image that IMO could be improved by a small change I can’t help mentioning it. I hope that the photographer is not shattered by my comments but would they really prefer I just pass over it with a blanket “nice image” rather than take the time to really say what I see?
Thank you all so very kindly, I am very grateful for the favs and lovely comments. I was having some technical issues, I couldn't get my camera to give me an live view on the screen so I just took my chances and shot. Later I realized my stupid mistake in menu settings., all remedied now. Ah, the complexities of modern cameras that have a sense of humor.
