Abstract drops

The rain was a surprise, okay not in the Pacific Northwest in general but, there was no mention of rain as a possibility today. After it stopped and the sun came back out, I saw this.

Lovely rain drops! LOL! I've never known a meteorologist to be entirely accurate with the weather, but some come pretty close.

@marlboromaam Thank you, my better half has a masters in atmospheric science (meteorology) and he was surprised too. The rain here is so gentle even when it comes down harder. Such a change from the high elevations in Arizona.

@joysabin I can only imagine that kind of rain. Most of the time the bottom drops out all of a sudden and you can be soaked - head to toe - in 15 seconds. LOL!

@pdulis @olivetreeann @monikozi Thank you all so much. The rental house where we are currently living has no back porch so we put up a canopy in the hopes that we might have a bit of a dry spot in the backyard. We are trying to puzzle out re-directing the rain dripping along the edge by the door to the house. The white area is a portion of that canopy.

@catcarter19 @k9photo Thank you for seeing the craziness of this. We are trying to create a dry zone on the patio. The canopy isn't meant to be a permanent thing but we are hoping.
