PMAE No 10

I want to edit! I am not going to lie, I want to! This is for the nifty fifty sooc challenge.

This is taken at the fire station in Sanders Arizona. The time of day was not my choosing so I wouldn't minimize harsh bright light on this wonderful antique fire truck. I was there to pick up 3 dogs being transferred to new homes. I am a small part of a network of volunteers who help drive the pups to their new homes. I met a 17 year old terrier, Oscar, and a pair of Pibbles, Girl and Sarge. I believe that they are a pit bull of sorts. Our journey together was quiet except that Girl chewed through my leash which I had used to secure her with. Thankfully she was a true lady and listened to my instructions to go lie down as I was driving on the interstate at 80 miles per hour. I am very happy to be able to help these rescue dogs on their path to new homes.
Great photo--nice detail. Great in B&W.
What wonderful work you do, relocating rescue dogs.

@eudora Thank you so very much for the fav. The network of dog drivers is a wonderful thing to be involved with. I get my dog fix when I meet and drive them.

@domenicododaro Thank you kindly, the NF challenge is good for me, it makes me really think about things, not having the luxury of adjustments creates many points to consider.

@megpicatilly Thank you, when I used to shoot film I would bracket much more in hopes that I might get a good shot. So this challenge makes me grateful for technology. The dog rescue network is amazing and I like meeting the pups and being a part of their lives for a short while. I don't have a dog at present but get my 'fix' and help them out.

@yrhenwr The light seems flat to me, no real snap but then I've become lazy with technology. This Nifty Fifty challenge is truly making me think and re-learn patience as well as basic composition rules.

@brett101 Thank you kindly, the tightness of the shot was at first unsettling. I walked all around the truck looking at different angles from which to shoot. I think that I need to bring out the filters and play with them and the format.

@gardenfolk Thank you kindly. I like the size of this truck. The rescue network is a small way that I can help and I get my dog 'fix' when I meet and drive them.
