PMAE No 29

A fall back from yesterday. Today has been a lesson in not-quite-rights. I was downtown to get a few train station with train shots. I didn't give myself much time but quickly got what I wanted and went about my other errands and chores. I arrived home to download my shots and choose which one that I liked and low and behold I had forgotten to put the SD card in the camera to begin with. So I took several cleansing breathes and went back out to re-shoot. Again on a tight time table to get my shot. The train station was cooperating but the train not so much, AWOL. So again I got home to and all the shots that I tried were boring and blah. I am a believer in when you fall down you get back up and go again but, I have my limits.

This is a shot using the FL-D filter that I mentioned yesterday. I like the contrast and detail it affords when composing and shooting B&W. So now I'll go have a glass of wine or eat some chocolate and post this one.

Tomorrow holds promise of new subjects and a fresh painful reminder to put a stupid extra SD card in my wallet from now on.
Love the textures.

Nice find. I like shapes and details.

oh dear, what a day!

I know days like yours. Fortunately they don't occur too often and the 'cure'/post trauma treatment is more than palatable;-)

I like this image very much. I am so glad my camera has two card slots because I would ALWAYS be forgetting it otherwise. I had a photo day like that today. A whole bunch of blah.

@deborah63 Thank you, old wooden wheels just stacked up.

@haskar Thank you very kindly for the fav. They look like an uncomfortable mode of transportation.

@overalvandaan We all get them now and then. I am trying to learn to accept them with more grace.

@s4sayer Makes me appreciate the days when things go better, I can say that today as it (all the oops' are now history). I did find a little pouch for my SD cards that are now in my wallet.

@evalieutionspics How wonderful and truly thoughtful of the camera designers. I do have plenty of extra cards but learning to bring them along is my hitch. Bad and oops type days just happen, or as I like to say Compost Happens.

@lsquared Thank you so much.

I love this shot--great lines and contrast. And I admire your tenacity. I think we have all forgotten the SD card or a fresh battery on occasion!
