I find the light source here intriguing and a bit confusing. Definitely need to check out the parameters of this challenge.

@pistache Truly appreciate the fave, thank you kindly.

@megpicatilly Thank you so kindly for the fave. Challenges like this let one go somewhat crazy with edits.

@pdulis Thank you so very much for the fave. Old stuff comes in handy now and then.

@gardencat I used a light table with plexiglass and a light under neath. It was a Christmas present. This challenge is fun and lets one experiment with edits and things. I down loaded some grunge textures to play around with but the android app SnapSeed has a grunge filter that is also
rather fun.

@ziggy77 Thank you so kindly for the fave. I hope you give it a try.

Your photographs of old objects are artistic and beautiful. I can't do the same, but I have started to photograph old items from home for the young generation so that they at least know what they are throwing away. ;-)) I am going to make a photo book of the pictures.

@octogenarian Good for you and I agree that the younger people may not realize until its too late that some things need to be cherished and saved. The lamp was a found item -junk sale as there is a crack in the base but it works. The clock was my Grandmother's which hasn't worked in at least 50+ years, though I won't part with it.

@eudora Thank you so much.

Do you suggest that I make some arrangements of the items? I have only photographed them in a (home made cardboard) lightbox.

@octogenarian I think that is a good idea, show a grouping or maybe a different perspective of some items. Maybe use a window with bright sunshine as a light source. Play around and let the creativity flow.
