Textures and I, yuck!!! Another flipp'n learning curve....
Anyway, this truck has fascinated me since moving to Flag, I finally have a reason to take its picture, which it has deserved for a long time.
@pistache So grateful for the fave. I have to figure out why my texture layer even though the same exact size wasn't copying over to the truck in the same proportions. I removed the keep same perspectives option but still no luck.
@joysabin ummm ... have you tried doing command t on the texture, which gives you a box so that you can then drag the edges in/out to make it smaller/bigger? probably no help at all ;)
@overalvandaan Thank you, I guess when I get frustrated with PS, I get cranky. I should follow what I used to tell my sons, step back and breathe a bit.
@pistache Thanks I hadn't heard of that short cut before, I will get it a try- learning PS through trial and error is both good and bad.
@ingajohansson Grateful, thank you. The truck hasn't moved in many a year and there is now a rather ugly mobile home next to it. I tried to not include the window but with iPhone couldn't get do it.
@eudora Thank you so much, my knowledge of PS is getting stronger but lots of times I get so fussed up with it. I am going to give Clare's short cut a try.
@domenicododaro Thank you a great deal for the fave. This truck has fascinated me for a long time. I still need to 'master' textures in photoshop, though.
@deborah63 Thank you so much, the grit was a texture that I downloaded and got lucky with success in photoshop.
@thistle Thank you so kindly for the fav. I am really looking forward to following you as well.
@gamelee I agree that the 'grit' was a tad over the top but seemed to fit for this and the challenge. More than likely it is my inexperience with textures and photoshop.
