PMAE No. 300

Out before the heat this morning. It as only 83F (29.7c) with a predicted high of 94f (33.7c).
This little one was so kind to pose or at least stay put while I got his picture with my phone. So few sunflowers left for him to hide in due to the construction and horrible amount of homes being built.
Well, doesn't he look cozy! Great color and detail! Fav.

@gardenfolk Thank you so much for the fav. I've not seen very many hoppers this year.

@joemuli Very grateful for the fav. The sunflowers are so bright but I also like the shots that this phone takes. I often don't take my DSLR on my walks just to bulky.

Great closeup! He really posed so nicely for his portrait. And his green color looks so good on the yellow.

Aww, how sweet. I like how the colours layer green, yellow, green and work together so nicely!

@golftragic We hoping for the monsoons to show up - that's my only consolation with the heat- rain.
@quietpurplehaze He was at just watching me or at least the large things coming his way-(my phone)
@thistle Thank you so much for the fav. This phone is almost as good as my iPhone which isn't anything but a camera for me.
@megpicatilly Thank you so kindly for the fave. I have to admit I'm not sure if my phone was set on HD or not. I am still learning how to use it, only had it for 6 months- slow learner here. :):)
@tstb13 I was so surprised that he just stay put. Normally they hop away faster than I can get my act together.
@jernst1779 I did thank him for being such a nice subject and I'm sure that he told all his hopper friends of his strange encounter with a silly human.
@stephanies Thank you, there are usually so many of them around, dry year and all the construction has destroyed most of the flowers for them to hide in.

I'll keep my fingers crossed (and toes too).

Fantastic shot! Fav. Love how he's encased in the flower.

@haskar Thank you so very kindly for the fav. The phone can be a handy tool while walking about.
