PMAE No 307

Happy 4th to those who celebrate. I feel we here are a tad out of sync and focus these days so that is where I went today.

A polaroid transfer from the NIK collection in Photoshop.
I like this. I stared at it for a bit so it obviously interested my eye. I like the light on the flowers, the lines and color of the bottle.

I feel the same way, Joy! Cannot watch the news at all and I go outside with my animals and look for things that make me happy. Not into today as much as usual.

@jernst1779 Thank you, I am delving deeper into Photoshop these days.
@gardenfolk The strength it takes to stay above the noise is at times missing and I just try to concentrate on my art.
@eudora Thank you, the things that Photoshop can do boggles the mind.
@francoise Thank you, playing in Photoshop helps me stay somewhat out of trouble,:):):):)

This is great, love the effect. I love Photoshop but am planning on dumping all Adobe products soon in favour of Luminar so have cut right back on using PS for processing. Luminar doesn't have subscriptions!

Beautiful strong and real eye candy art

@golftragic Thank you ever so much for the fav. I am on the need to save for list with Luminar. I have recently purchased Affinity by Serif.(one time purchase like Luminar) I haven't made too much progress with it yet but since my version of PS is 7+years old and no longer supported I am just waiting for it to bite the big jpeg and die. I also am waiting to see if the workbook for Affinity just be included with PrimeDay. In the mean time, I will be using YouTube as my source to learn more.
@lanikyea Thank you so very much. I am enjoying learning through playing.

@joysabin You'll love Luminar, if you're used to PS there's a bit of a learning curve beyond the basic level but well worth it. I have my copy of PS6 which was the last pre-subscription version so can use that if I feel I need it. Luminar works differently from PS but if you spend a bit of time with the available tutorials etc it's surprising what can be done, and how. It's much less tool-oriented than PS and more process-oriented.

I really like your processing and composition.

Great still life, with processing that really highlights the artistry.
July 5th, 2018
A lovely still life but I like the way everything has an outline. Happy 4th to you.

VML the surreal bottle.

@haskar Thank you so much for the fav.
@pistache Very grateful for the fav. The deep blue bottle (before the NIK treatment) was what started this- needed some red/white &blue for the 4th.
@yaorenliu Thank you, I was rather surprised how this turn out.
@thistle Thank you so kindly for the fav. I worried that this was off center, most still life's are centered.
@henrir Thank you so much.
@taffy So kind of you, thank you.
@megpicatilly Thank you a great deal. I will explore this filter in NIk more. Somewhat surreal.
@s4sayer Very appreciative of the fav. This filter in Photoshop has some potential.

Brilliant! Out of sync, at odds with each other, inward looking, no sense of perspective or of history, etc etc! Maybe you've made this look too good. Fav!

@yrhenwr Thank you so kindly for the fav. I know our snake oil salesman is temporary but its the under current that concerns me.
