Peruvian Aplomado Falcon

My brother-in-law just got another baby falcon. This one's only 6 weeks old and cannot yet fly. He's still molting his baby down feathers. My brother-in-law is a falconer and trains his birds to chase the seagulls away from the land fills.
Sorry I haven't commented too much lately. Sometimes life gets in the way of my photography. Right now I'm up in central Calif. visiting my Mom for Mother's Day. Had to pick her up from rehab facility yesterday because she broke her hip about a week ago. Had surgery and now she's up, walking again and back home. She's a super Mom!
