@deak68 Thanks Diane! I'm not sure what kind of bird it is but I think you may be right about the pigeon family. This one is about the size of a big fat well-fed chicken.
@deak68 Ok. Found out it's called a Nicobar Pigeon from the Nicobar Islands. (Caloenas nicobarica) is a pigeon found on small islands and in coastal regions from the Nicobar Islands, east through the Malay Archipelago, to the Solomons and Palau.
