Got it! I looked at that photo, and thought, "I'm not going to scroll down until I take a guess!" OK, I guessed that the falconeer wore this, but it's for the bird, right? That's some gorgeous and amazing equipment! (Show us the bird sometime in all his regalia!)

@Weezilou You got it right! These are the falcon bird hoods. They keep the birds calm whenever the keeper wants to use them. I have put up a few of my brother-in-law's birds in the past. I love taking photos of them. The table is very cool. Belongs to my sister.
