As I was driving home I spotted a small herd of Bison. I always knew they were out there on the ranch but usually not this close to the fence and road. I love looking at them. I feel nostalgic and kind of sad when I think about how many thousands used to roam in the 1800's.
How very beautiful and golden. I have never seen a real bison. Amazing to think of huge herds roaming the land. One on his own is a little nostalgic if they are no longer so plentiful.
