We walked all around the Chania's Venetian harbour to the lighthouse. It was finished in 1601, making it one of the oldest in the world. We could see its re-assuring red flashes from our hotel room by the outer harbour.
Greeks had been complaining that they'd had no winter. The lack of rain will be a problem for farmers later in the year. However we had that biting east wind back today.
