By the time we had picked our way round to the west side of the bay, the Kimmeridge Ledges had uncovered. This bay is part of the Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve.
The 200 year old Clavell Tower has recently been moved twenty five metres back from the cliff edge, and can be rented for holidays from The Landmark Trust. It is hideously expensive, and booked up!
