Having only walked 40 miles of the 630 mile South West Coast Path, it was about time we clocked up some more. So we set off from Ferrybridge at the north end of the Chesil Bank to walk to Abbotsbury, then West Bay.
Old Fleet Church features in John Meade Falkner's novel "Moonfleet". I seem to remember that he wrote about the coffins in the crypt bobbing about during a very high tide, frightening children with their booming noise as they collided!
