180° at a 45° Angle

I realize that panoramas do not display well here on Project 365. But I still have been itching to play with this free Microsoft panorama software, so...this is to please myself.
I was thinking that if you can create panoramas on the horizontal axis, why not the vertical? Or, in this case, a diagonal?
This is a panoramic composite of 12 (12!!) shots; it is a full 180° of the sky from the East over the freeway to the Sun waning over Northrop Grumman, atop the hill to the West of me. It was shot at approximately a 45° angle from the ground.
I look forward to a future panoramic shot depicting a full 360° around me- just gotta find an appropriate subject.

A gorgeous sky, and it was very interesting to read about your experiment. Seems like a success to me!
