I did not notice this when shooting it. It wasn't until in post that I I saw what had occurred.
Apparently there had been a tiny hole in the green leaf (or maybe a very thin spot?), facilitating a prism-like effect.

I was a bit disappointed; this was perhaps one of my best shots (in my opinion) & it got hardly any notice. An off-handed shot of some paint-fading fence posts got more notice. I considered that one "phoning it in"....
